Illustration Friday -- Farm

This is a barn on a farm that I used to pass on my way out of town. I love the soft, silvery-gray color of the weathered wood.

Remarkable, lovely, and effective. A beautiful tribute to a work of art in itself.

Beautiful work!
makes me want to go find the place and lie down in the grass.

Wow, looks great. I'm not sure what it is though but it's kind of eerie. As if it belongs in a town with nasty secrets.

There is something so appealing about barns...they seem to have a life of their own, and they just look so beautiful to me. whether they're well kept of broken down. This is an exquisite painting. I love the soft weathered colors, and I admire your masterful technique. This is a truly fine painting!

reminds me of Andrew Wyeth. Andrew? The Wyeth that did Christina's World.

Gina, Beautiful rendering of a barn. Great detail in both the barn and the surroundings. I love the shadows in the lower portion of the painting. When I first saw the barn I felt I should go in and check on the animals. Very nice.

This is really great. You've done an excellent job in rendering the details of the scene without loosing the feeling. A truely great watercolor.
